Very well written. A lot of sub-topics that has relevance in information security. This is an introduction but there are other resources that reference other materials.

Good book, lots of detail without getting overly technical. I needed to get it for a class and while I didn't like the price it will be a good reference for later on if I need it. It has some specific examples about the techniques it was discussing with screen shots and how-to's.
