Free Principles of Information Systems Security: Texts and Cases
I did not buy this book because I wanted to; I had to for a graduate course. This is absolutely one of the worse texts I have ever read. Content is redundant, out of date, and not at all relevant for today's security professional. Each chapter begins with a factious case study that is carried on the entire book. It's pure filler. Also the diagrams are childish (Visio) and too much time is spent on minor topics. Avoid at all costs.

Dhillon covers all areas of security in this book including the legality issues. All chapters are very informative and provide very detailed examples. This is a great book for those who want a solid overview of information security.
