I passed my Net+ recently reading only this and the "Network+ rapid review" book (by the same author.)
The layout of the material and how everything was summarized at the end was flawless.

I was skeptical buying a Microsoft Press book for a CompTIA exam, however it has proven to be an excellent study guide. I've read more than one Network+ book and this one was by far easier to follow and better organized. It provides markers for key topics (so that when you are reviewing for the exam, you can just go over the important stuff) as well as doing a better job of explaining the more complicated aspects of the exam, such as decimal/hex to binary conversion and subnetting. I would easily recommend this book for anyone studying for the Network+ exam.
