I did not find this book very useful at all in studying for the CCM examination. But, if you are attempting to open up a case managment business: this book provides excellent guidance. Also, a useful guide for case management practice.
By Ruth D. Allen
I recently took, and passed, CCMC's CCM exam on the first try. After attending the author's seminar, "Best in Class: Case Management," I took her book home and read it cover to cover. Personal anecdotes brought additional perspective to information on topics in which my own job gives me less exposure. It's a great addition to anyone's exam study prep, or for those considering a leap into case management.
