Free Estimated Useful Lives of Depreciable Hospital Assets, Revised 2013 edition
This is a 28 page booklet which laundry lists facilities, fixed plant, and various medical equipment, furniture and fixtures along with the estimated useful lives of these assets. Many are simply the economic depreciation scheudles for the assets which the IRS includes in their depreciation schedules. For an appraiser, the listing is concise and helpful guide to establishing a fair market value as long as the original cost is known. In opinion of this reviewer, the text is a bit overpriced as when my order arrived at the bookstore I was informed of a price increase from $25 to $38. In my opinion, the information you get isn't worth more than the $1.00 per page the American Hospital Association is charging

The depreciable assets have been greatly expanded. This helps tremendously over previous versions. We use this resource several times a month
