I've been away from the clinical setting for about three years and my bedside skills had become a little rusty. This book is a good refresher for someone who has already done most of the procedures and has a certain skill set already. I've worked so many different areas during my nursing career, this book is what is needed. The new nurse or student nurse might find it hard to navigate without the practice portion. but like any skill it requires practice, practice, practice. The skills learned can not be taken away when learned correctly. the authors have broken the information down to it's basic which makes it easy and correct steps. So many people think that just reading the information will give them the skill set required, they don't take into consideration that you have to practice those skills to become good at them.

I have the hard copy of this book, but I wanted to be able to leave it at home and just take my iPad to school. The eBook is the exact book! It has very graphic pictures and step-by-step directions for skills. I was able to download my eBook (Kindle app) immediately after purchasing it. It is a great book for learn nursing skills. I am able to refer to my book easily without the heavy hard copy. I would definitely recommend this eBook to anyone who is in nursing school or just needs a reference copy.
