The textbook has a lot of good information, but it goes on forever with stats. They could have made a table of all their stats, and put that in an appendix. But otherwise it is a decent textbook.

This textbook is a comprehensive review of family health care nursing with good use of graphics and examples. However, it is difficult to look up specific situations within a family and there is a great deal of repetitiveness throughout the book. There are also no practice multiple choice questions, which are helpful for students trying to study from this material.
