Dr. Offit has succeeded in writing a very readable and informative book about vaccines. He is a highly-educated doctor, but has managed to discuss the science behind the development of vaccines, and still make it understandable. If you are looking for a knowledgeable, objective, and reasoned discussion of vaccines and their effects, this is it.

I love how this book breaks it down easily for the average layperson to understand. This book is "one sided" since one side resides in evidence based fact and the other side has been repeatedly disproved by study after study yet they continue to charm naive first time mothers.
