Free Sams Teach Yourself SQL in 24 Hours
Great book if you are a beginner or have not written SQL in a few years. It has been three years since I wrote SQL, so this has been a good book to refer to get rolling again.

Great intro to SQL if you're interested. You're not really going to learn this in 24 hours, but take your time and read it cover-to-cover at least three times - once for exposure, then a second time to really learn it, and a third time to pick up anything you didn't quite understand until you actually got some real hands-on experience.
