About the Author
Viette, radio host of the weekly three-hour live nationwide call-in radio program "In the Garden", is a distinguished horticulturist, author, and lecturer. He owns the Viette Farm and Nursery in Fishersville, Virginia. He is the recipient of the 2004 Liberty Hyde Bailey Award, the highest honor given by the American Horticultural Society.
Viette, nurseryman, lecturer, and contributor to horticultural journals, horticultural instructor at the Blue Ridge Community College, is alternate host as well as president and general manager of Viette Communications.
Jacqueline Heriteau is the author of more than 20 books on gardening, including The National Arboretum Book of Outstanding Garden Plants, The American Horticultural Society Flower Finder, and Glorious Gardens. She has contributed to Horticulture, Fine Gardening, Coastal Living, Country Gardens, and Traditional Home magazines.
