Required Textbook, GREAT companion CD. Lots of interactive questions on the cd to prepare for tests. The textbook was required - and was a good overview of mental health nursing. I am taking Psych nursing this semester and this is one of the best books I have used throughout the whole nursing program. It is very informative, easy to read, and gives you enough information without overdoing it! The only negative is that I have heard that this book used to have a Pharmocology section and this new edition does not. It has some pharm but its spread throughout th book. Otherwise I would recommend this book to every nursing student or anyone interested in psych nursing!
