Professors, Doctors, Teachers...Do not use this book as a curriculum please!!!
The first chapter is great on teaching you combining forms, roots prefixes. After that, the publishers and writers turn this into an anatomy and physiology lesson book, a poor one at that.
All of the exercises focus on talking about the anatomy and physiology of the body, when IT SHOULD BE FOCUSING on having the student using the new terms and roots and combining forms.
As I said the chapters read more on teaching you basic A&P and reading the "case reports" and breaking those down barely any of the exercises have you working on using the new terms and breaking down and defining them as they should...A medical/latin dictionary will be more useful as a lesson plan then this book
So if you are a teacher choosing your curriculum for your students, please do not use this book...Flash cards would be better

the book was in amazing shape and well packaged but the only thing was that it didn't come with the access card. i thought it came with it but didnt because it wasn't mention on the description but other than that the book is perfect.
