I spent the last two weeks leveraging this book for configuration changes to the SRX 5800 we use at our company. This book shines in that it gives you a good overview of each section with configuration examples and then breaks things down into case studies. For instance, Chapter 5 on Network Address Translation, the book covers how NAT is handled by the SRX, gives you the basic configuration example and how to monitor and debug. Instead of stopping there like most books of this nature, the book then starts providing case studies of different ways to use NAT (ISP Redunancy via PAT, Double NAT, etc).
The new SRX systems have so many features and options that without a book of this nature you could never take advantage of everything. The book contains a wonderful chapter on IPSec VPNs that is worth reading even if you don't own an SRX.
Bottom line: If you use an SRX, buy the book.

This Book is Granular.
The case studies are descriptive and leverage real world applicable scenarios.
One note however is that i believe it is tailored for Network engineers that have some Security background and knowledge of Junos.
This is a book i utilize alot. If you work on SRX's BUY IT !!!
