Free Health Care Reform and American Politics: What Everyone Needs to Know, Revised and Updated Edition
I found this book to be helpful in understanding the political process of developing and getting a new law like this passed. The intrigue of how the process works with all of the special interest groups and the politically toxic environment in Washington was truly interesting. The book also provides a good view into what many of the challenges of implementation will be for years to come. Regardless of your political posiiton, this book is a really good read on process.
