Free Anesthesiologist's Manual of Surgical Procedures
With hundreds of books to choose from, I refer to this one more than any to prepare for my cases. As a caveat my experience level is < 500 cases. Those with more experience have complained that it is inaccurate, incomplete, even insulting. I can understand the first two complaints, but it is a compromise with girth as this book is already > 1500 pages. It's a great start for a green provider.
