I love this book! The Coreys are exceptional writers with exciting and innovating ideas to share. If you only buy one book on this subject, it should definitely be this one! And if you ever come across this book in a "bundle" with Groups in Action workbook and DVD buy it immediately, the DVD alone is incredible!

This is an excellent book for any student who is going into counseling. It is easy reading and written concisely that you understand what is expected of you when you facilitate a group. Corey is an excellent writer and his books are a real asset to anyone who is a counselor. His DVD brings everything together. It is a great help in seeing how a group is put together and completed. It makes the process easy to understand.
