Diann Sloan has R.N., B.S.N., M.S.N., F.N.C., as well as M.S. Ed., and Ph.D. in education degrees. She has worked as a staff nurse in surgical nursing, pediatrics, and neonatal intensive care and as a pediatric nurse clinician. She has also been an instructor of pediatric and psychiatric nursing.
Clara Hurd has R.N., B.S.N., M.S.N., and G.N.C. degrees. Ms Hurd is certified in nursing education. She is a nurse educator consultant facilitating faculty mentoring, item writing, and curriculum development. She has 31 years of experience and has worked as a staff nurse in medical-surgical nursing and the surgical intensive care unit. Ms. Hurd has taught in associate and baccalaureate nursing programs.

Free NCLEX-PN Exam Prep
Okay so when I first received this book in the mail I was a little afraid that it wouldn't comprehensively cover the material needed to take a licensing exam. And I was WRONG. This book is great and it's packed full of features that are really helpful, such as in book quizzes on the material, with rationales for the correct answers, practice exams at the end of the book, helpful books/sites you can go to if you want more information on a certain subject, and the CD-ROM which had great questions (over 500) that simulated the NCLEX-PN exam. The subject matters that were covered were done in depth and I especially liked the medication and disease charts that were throughout the book that compiled pertinent information onto one list. This is a great book and I highly recommend it to students studying for the NCLEX-PN exam.

This book seriously was a life saver when studying for state boards! It breaks everything down so well and is very organized so you don't get overwhelmed. I really liked the fact that he book goes directly through each system.. There is an addition to this book called NCLEX-PN Exam Cram (they can be ordered in a sets) is also very helpful, the exam cram doesn't focus only on one system so it's very close to the layout of boards... you never know what type of question is going to be next. HIGHLY recommend this book or if you have enough time order the 3 book set.
